Kangana Ranaut is currently working on her next, ‘Emergency’ which is also directed by her. The actress has made a transition from being an actor to a producer and director. Recently, Kangana shared a list of her all-time favourite movies. This list included, ‘Amadeus, ‘The Shawshank Redemption’, ‘American Beauty’, ‘Pyaasa’, ‘Amour’, ‘Seven Year Itch’, ‘Interstellar’ and ‘The Notebook’.

Interestingly, this list includes only one Hindi film. Guru Dutt’s ‘Pyaasa’ is one of the most classic films of Hindi cinema. It also starred Dutt, along with Mala Sinha, Waheeda Rehman, Johnny Walker. A user told Kangana to list out her favourite Hindi films. So, in another tweet, the actress chose her favourite 8 Hindi movies. These films include, ‘Hum Aapke Hai Koun..’, ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, ‘Kaagaz Ke Phool’ and also her own movie, ‘Tanu Weds Manu 2’.

Kangana is known for speaking her mind on social media. The actress recently reacted to Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s statement as he broke silence on controversy surrounding his wife Aaliya. She had said, “Was much needed @nawazuddin._siddiqui saab… silence does not always give us peace… I am glad you issued this statement.”
